More Safety Standards for a Home Space Heaters

Below are some of the safety standards to follow when you are using a home space heater:
o Keep the doors open to the entire house if you have an unvented fuel-burning home space heater. This will help prevent pollutants from building up and this will also promote proper combustion. You should also follow the manufacturer and operator’s instruction to provide sufficient combustion of air to prevent the production of CO.
o You should never leave your home space heater when you go to sleep. You should also not place your home space heater close to someone sleeping.
o You should also turn off the home space heater especially when you leave the area. You should also keep your children and pets away from the home space heater.
